 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1899

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1899 by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The  Electric  Supplier  Act  is amended by
 5    changing Section 10.10 as follows:

 6        (220 ILCS 30/10.10) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 410.10)
 7        Sec. 10.10.  Exemption  from  tax.   Any  public  utility
 8    paying  a  tax  on  its  gross  revenue  for each fiscal year
 9    pursuant to the provisions of The Public Utilities Act, shall
10    not be subject to the provisions  of  Sections  10.1  through
11    10.9 of this Act.
