1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Virginia I. Theivagt of Greenfield,
4 Illinois, who passed away February 21, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, Virginia Theivagt was born in Greenfield on May
6 9, 1919; her parents were Roy and Eula Melvin Piper; in 1942
7 she married Al Theivagt in Princeton; and
8 WHEREAS, Virginia Theivagt was a teacher in Wrights,
9 Kane, and Greenfield Grade Schools before her retirement in
10 1986; and
11 WHEREAS, Virginia Theivagt is survived by her daughters:
12 Delores (Tom) Gardner, Alice Theivagt, Helen (Steve) Rowling,
13 Margaret Theivagt, and Susan (Mark) Hopkins; her sons: Larry
14 Theivagt, Charles (Pat) Theivagt, and Michael (Regina)
15 Theivagt; her thirteen grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren;
16 a great-grandson; and her sister, Pauline Terley; therefore,
17 be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 her family and friends, the death of Virginia Theivagt of
21 Greenfield, Illinois; may they find the peace so needed in
22 this time of loss; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Virginia Theivagt.
