1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of
4 Donald Wilson of Herrick, Illinois, who recently passed away;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was born in Carlinville, Illinois,
7 on September 26, 1949, the son of James L. and Eleanor Nance
8 Wilson; on September 23, 1972, he married Yvonne Miller at
9 the Herrick Christian Church, with the Reverend Dennis Corley
10 presiding; and
11 WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was employed with Mueller Company
12 in Decatur, Illinois, for 27 years; he was a member of Paper,
13 Allied-Industrial, Chemical & Energy Worker's International
14 Union Local 6-0838, Joppa Lodge No. 706 at Cowden,
15 Saver-Guthrie Post 839 American Legion in Herrick, and the
16 Order of the Eastern Star in Herrick; and he was a charter
17 member of the Eagles of Lake Shelbyville Aerie 4395; and
18 WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was a proud member of the Herrick
19 Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years; his wife serves as a
20 captain and his son, Brooks, is also a member of the
21 department; in addition to his wife and son, Donald Wilson is
22 survived by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Van and
23 Eleanor Cook; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Violet McManmie; his
24 daughters, Mrs. Brian (Stacy) Windell and Mrs. Deano
25 (Shananne) Brown; his daughter-in-law, Jamie Wilson; his
26 brothers, Mr. Ronald Wilson and Mr. Jack (Joyce) Wilson; his
27 sisters, Sherry Koester and Tammy Hoyle; his grandsons,
28 Chase, Caleb, and Coty; and his granddaughters, Breanne,
29 Loren, Chloe, Cameron, and Clera; therefore, be it
30 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
31 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we wish to express
32 our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Donald

2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Donald Wilson.
