1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of
4 Lucy Manar Ament, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Lucy Manar Ament was born in Alton, Illinois on
6 January 10, 1923; her parents were Pete and Louisa
7 Zarantonello Manar; and
8 WHEREAS, Lucy Manar Ament was a homemaker; and
9 WHEREAS, On July 14, 1946 she married John E. Ament in
10 Bunker Hill; and
11 WHEREAS, Lucy Manar Ament is survived by her husband,
12 John; her daughters, Gloria (Robert) Montgomery, Betty
13 (Larry) Chapman, and Luanne Yancey; her sons, William (Paula)
14 Manar, Robert (Reggie) Ament, and Paul Thomas (Marilyn)
15 Ament; her grandchildren, Joseph and Robyn Manar, Andrew
16 Manar, Kate Manar, Annie and Mike Landau, John Kevin Ament,
17 Tim and Amy Jamison, George and Cindy Beneke, Robert and
18 Donna Montgomery, Anthony Montgomery, Tim Chapman, John
19 Chapman, Jennifer and James Adams, Calvin Yancey, Guy Ament,
20 and Chelsea Ament; her great-grandchildren, Corey, Courtney,
21 and George Beneke, Jonathan and Joshua Montgomery, Paige
22 Jamison, and Ashley Landau; her two sisters, Rose Rubis and
23 Edith Herren; and her brother, Richard Finn; therefore, be it
24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
26 all that knew her, the death of Lucy Manar Ament of Bunker
27 Hill, Illinois; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to the family of Lucy Manar Ament.
