1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Pauline M. Link of Waukegan, Illinois who passed away on
5 October 26, 2000; and
6 WHEREAS, Pauline M. Link was born on November 13, 1914 in
7 Waukegan, Illinois to the late John and Mary Grom; and
8 WHEREAS, Pauline M. Link married Elmer Link in Chicago on
9 November 29, 1935; he preceded her in death; and
10 WHEREAS, Pauline M. Link was a member of Our Lady of
11 Humility Parish; she was a former member of Holy Family
12 Parish in North Chicago and the Altar and Rosary Society; and
13 WHEREAS, Pauline M. Link was a member of various bowling
14 leagues, active in the PTA when her children were growing up,
15 and was an avid Bingo player; she was also very involved in
16 activities with her grandchildren; and
17 WHEREAS, The passing of Pauline M. Link will be deeply
18 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her children,
19 John Link, Joann Perkowski, Ed Link, and Illinois State
20 Senator Terry Link; her daughters-in-law, Diane Link and
21 Susie Link; her son-in-law, Harold Perkowski; her 9
22 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Ann
23 DeBoo; her sisters-in-law, Emeline Follensbee and Victoria
24 Grom; and her many dear friends; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
27 all who knew her, the death of Pauline M. Link of Waukegan,
28 Illinois; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the family of Pauline M. Link.
