1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Burton T. Robinson who passed away August 30, 2000 in
5 Naperville, Illinois; and
6 WHEREAS, Burton T. Robinson was born on June 18, 1931 in
7 Chicago, Illinois to William and Bernice Robinson; and
8 WHEREAS, Burton T. Robinson was a C.P.A. and Treasurer of
9 the Andover Association at Carillon for 10 years; and
10 WHEREAS, Burton T. Robinson was a veteran of the Korean
11 War, serving in the United States Army; he was a member of
12 the Forest Park V.F.W. Post #7181 and the Illinois Railroad
13 Museum of Union, Illinois; and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Burton T. Robinson will be deeply
15 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
16 Bess; his brother, Glenn W. Robinson; his uncle, Thomas B.
17 Robinson; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 all who knew him, the death of Burton T. Robinson of
21 Naperville, Illinois; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Burton T. Robinson.
