Section 1125.345  Office of Information Technology (OIT)

a)         The purpose of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is to support the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) with the Department's applications.  OIT also partners with the Department's programs and vendors on system implementations.  Additionally, OIT assists with Request for Proposals (RFP) development and assists in data modernization initiatives.  Further, OIT advocates for the Department's technology business needs and partners with state and local agencies on Department initiatives.

b)         The Chief Information Officer (CIO) manages the OIT.
