Section 250.2300  Diagnostic, Treatment, and Physical Facilities and Services

a)         Diagnostic and treatment facilities and services as provided for in Subpart E and Subpart F shall be provided by the psychiatric hospital either on its premises or by written affiliation arrangement, or contractual agreement, with a general hospital or by a clinical laboratory certified under 42 CFR 483.

b)         Rooms for Disturbed Patients and Psychiatric Nursing Units shall comply with Section 250.2440(d)(5); Section 250.2440(g); Section 250.2630(d)(5) and Section 250.2630(g).

c)         Psychiatric facilities shall comply with 42 CFR 482.62.
