SECTION 350.1670 STAFF RESPONSIBILITY FOR MEDICAL RECORDS
Section 350.1670 Staff Responsibility for Medical Records
The facility shall designate a staff member who is skilled in record maintenance and preservation to be responsible for maintaining and preserving medical records. If the designated person is not a health information management consultant as defined in Section 350.330, then the designated person shall receive consultation from a health information management consultant in order to meet the medical record requirements of this Part.
