Section 515.100  State Rehabilitation Council

The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) is established for the purpose of advising the Secretary of the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the vocational rehabilitation administrator (i.e., the Office of Rehabilitation Services (DHS-ORS) Associate Director) of the provisions of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 in matters concerning individuals with disabilities and the provision of rehabilitation services [20 ILCS 5/5-550].
