AN ACT concerning transportation.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |
Section 2-127.5 as follows:

(625 ILCS 5/2-127.5 new) |
Sec. 2-127.5. Literacy and English as a second language |
classes. At Secretary of State Driver Service facilities, the |
Secretary shall provide a pamphlet or post information |
informing customers of the availability of literacy and English |
as a second language classes. The Secretary may satisfy this |
requirement by providing the Internet address of a |
not-for-profit entity offering this information.
