AN ACT concerning health.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 1. Short title. This Act may be referred to as |
Hayli's Law.
|
Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is |
amended by adding Section 3.9 as follows:

Sec. 3.9. Lemonade stand. Notwithstanding any other |
provision of law, the Department of Public Health, the health |
department of a unit of local government, or a public health |
district may not regulate the sale of lemonade or nonalcoholic |
drinks or mixed beverages by a person under the age of 16.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
1, 2022.
