AN ACT concerning health.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act is |
amended by adding Section 3.24 as follows:
|
(410 ILCS 620/3.24 new) |
Sec. 3.24. Drug misbranding; gluten. An oral drug is |
misbranded if gluten is included as an inactive ingredient and |
is not so listed on its label. This Section does not apply to a |
pharmacy or pharmacist, as those terms are defined in Section |
3 of the Pharmacy Practice Act.
