AN ACT concerning local government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by adding Section |
5-1064.5 as follows:

(55 ILCS 5/5-1064.5 new) |
Sec. 5-1064.5. Wildlife and sensitive habitat risk in |
counties of less than 1,000,000 population. The county board |
of a county with a population of less than 1,000,000 may |
establish minimum requirements for new building design and |
construction to lessen the risks caused by new building design |
and construction to wildlife and sensitive habitats.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
