AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services |
Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by |
adding Section 405-135 as follows:

(20 ILCS 405/405-135 new) |
Sec. 405-135. Rulemaking for administrative hearing |
procedure. After consulting with affected State agencies, the |
Department of Central Management Services may adopt rules to |
facilitate electronic filing and rules governing practice and |
procedure in administrative hearings. Agencies that do not use |
the Department for administrative hearing support shall not be |
subject to any rulemaking or rules under this Section.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law. |
