Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly: ARTICLE 1 Section 1. The following amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the objects and purposes named, to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority: Payable from the Violence Prevention Fund: For Personal Services ........................ $ 500,800 For Employee Retirement Contributions Paid by Employer ............................ 20,100 For State Contributions to State Employees' Retirement System ................ 67,400 For State Contribution to Social Security ............................. 38,400 For Group Insurance .......................... 110,000 For Contractual Services ..................... 9,500 For Travel ................................... 16,000 For Commodities .............................. 1,500 For Printing ................................. 5,000 For Equipment ................................ 1,000 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 1,000 For Telecommunications Services .............. 5,000 Total $775,700 Payable from the General Revenue Fund: For Contractual Services ..................... 40,000 Total $40,000 Section 2. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Violence Prevention Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of the Violence Prevention Act of 1995. Section 3. The sum of $2,332,800, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of the Violence Prevention Act of 1995. Section 4. The amount of $931,600, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council Program. Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, 2003.
