Public Act 93-0519 SB78 Enrolled LRB093 02023 AMC 02023 b AN ACT concerning nurses. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly: Section 5. The Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act is amended by adding Sections 20-31 and 20-32 as follows: (225 ILCS 65/20-31 new) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2008) Sec. 20-31. Licensure requirements; internet site. The Department shall make available to the public the requirements for licensure in English and Spanish on the internet through the Department's World Wide Web site. This information shall include the requirements for licensure of individuals currently residing in another state or territory of the United States or a foreign country, territory, or province. The Department shall establish an e-mail link to the Department for information on the requirements for licensure, with replies available in English and Spanish. (225 ILCS 65/20-32 new) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2008) Sec. 20-32. Educational resources; internet link. The Department shall work with the Board of Nursing, the APN Board, the Board of Higher Education, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Statewide organizations, and community-based organizations to develop a list of Department-approved nursing programs and other educational resources related to the Test of English as a Foreign Language and the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools Examination. The Department shall provide a link to a list of these resources, in English and Spanish, on the Department's World Wide Web site.
