    AN ACT concerning State commemorative dates.

 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
represented in the General Assembly:


 
    Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended  by 
adding Section 31 as follows:
 
    (5 ILCS 490/31 new)

    Sec. 31. Great Grandparents Day. The first Sunday after 
Labor Day of each year is designated as Great Grandparents Day 
to encourage the citizens of Illinois to honor and celebrate 
great grandparents throughout the State.
