AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by |
adding Section 4.08 as follows:
|
(20 ILCS 105/4.08 new) |
Sec. 4.08. Medication management program. Subject to |
appropriation, the Department shall establish a program to |
assist persons 60 years of age or older in managing their |
medications. The Department shall establish guidelines and |
standards for the program by rule.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law. |
