AN ACT concerning land.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State of Illinois owns the following |
described real estate:
|
THE SOUTH 20 ACRES OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED TRACT:

THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY IS SUBJECT TO A DEDICATED RIGHT OF |
WAY FOR PUBLIC ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES OVER THE SOUTH |
45 FEET OF EVEN WIDTH THEREOF. AS RECORDED IN BOOK 12 OF |

Section 10. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State |
of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in Section |
10 of this Act, the Director of Corrections, on behalf of the |
State of Illinois and all State Agencies, must convey by |
quitclaim deed all right, title, and interest of the State of |
Illinois in and to the Ed Jenison Work Camp located in Edgar |
County, Illinois to the City of Paris as described in Section |
5.

Section 15. The quit claim deed shall state on its face and |
be subject to the condition that if the property is no longer |
used for public purposes, then title shall revert without |
further action to the State of Illinois.

Section 20. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a |
certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective |
date, and shall record the certified document in the recorder's |
