AN ACT concerning public health.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
amended by adding Section 2310-655 as follows:

Sec. 2310-655. Technical assistance on playgrounds. The |
Department of Public Health shall provide technical assistance |
materials based on guidelines or standards such as the U.S. |
Consumer Product Safety Commission's guidelines, the U.S. |
Access Board final guidelines, or the standards of the American |
Society for Testing and Materials by June 30, 2011. The |
materials may be available on the Department's website. |
Nothing in this Section shall be construed as imposing any |
mandate concerning equipment in restaurants or dwellings.
