| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 68, AS AMENDED, in |
| 3 | | Section 10, in Sec. 370c.1, by replacing subsection (l) with |
| 4 | | the following:

| 5 | | "(l) In conjunction with its compliance examination |
| 6 | | program conducted in accordance with the Illinois State |
| 7 | | Auditing Act, the Auditor General shall undertake a review of |
| 8 | | compliance by the Department and the Department of Healthcare |
| 9 | | and Family Services with Section 370c and this Section. Any |
| 10 | | findings resulting from the review conducted under this Section |
| 11 | | shall be included in the applicable State agency's compliance |
| 12 | | examination report. Each compliance examination report shall |
| 13 | | be issued in accordance with Section 3-14 of the Illinois State |
| 14 | | Auditing Act. A copy of each report shall also be delivered to |
| 15 | | the head of the applicable State agency and posted on the |
| 16 | | Auditor General's website.".
