| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Community-Integrated Living Arrangements |
| 5 | | Licensure and
Certification Act is amended by adding Section |
| 6 | | 9.2 as follows:

| 7 | | (210 ILCS 135/9.2 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 9.2. Emergency contacts. An agency shall collect and |
| 9 | | securely store identifying and contact information for each |
| 10 | | individual resident. This information may include, but not be |
| 11 | | limited to, a current photograph, personal contact |
| 12 | | information, guardian or emergency contact information, and a |
| 13 | | log of all off-site overnight visits. This information shall be |
| 14 | | updated periodically.

| 15 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 16 | | becoming law.
