| 4 | | "Section 5. The Township Code is amended by adding Section |

| 7 | | Sec. 30-22. Accumulation of funds. The electors or board of |
| 8 | | trustees may not allow the township funds, excluding the |
| 9 | | township's capital fund, to accumulate moneys exceeding an |
| 10 | | amount equal to or greater than 2.5 times the annual average |
| 11 | | expenditure of the previous 3 fiscal years.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 | | becoming law.".
