AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3052 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3052, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
42, as follows:
 
5on page 1, immediately below line 9, by inserting the 
6following:
 
7    ""Debt rate" means the aggregate tax rate levied for 
8capital improvements and bond and interest purposes, to the 
9extent not included in the limiting tax rate."; and
 
10on page 1, line 10, after "is", by inserting "the tax rate 
11levied to produce"; and
 
12on page 3, immediately below line 17, by inserting the 
13following:

1    "(g) The Department of Revenue shall certify to the State 
2Board of Education the school districts that meet the 
3definitions of "minor district" and "major district", as 
4applicable.
5    (h) A minor district shall use debt rate collections only 
6for the purpose of retiring debt.".
