Amends the School Code. Provides that a regional superintendent of schools may practice or hold himself or herself out as practicing any other profession. Repeals a provision prohibiting this. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 3-3.1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/3-3.1 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3-3.1. Practice of other profession. Notwithstanding |
| 8 | | any other law to the contrary, a regional superintendent of |
| 9 | | schools under this Article may practice or hold himself or |
| 10 | | herself out as practicing any other profession.
