AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4236 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4236 on page 57, 
3line 23, after "require", by inserting "electric"; and


 
4on page 57, lines 23 and 24, by deleting "and alternative 
5retail electric suppliers"; and
 
6on page 57, line 26, after "process.", by inserting "The 
7electric utilities shall assess a non-bypassable charge to 
8alternative retail electric suppliers for the recovery of 
9sourcing agreement costs, with such costs commensurate with the 
10share of the retail customer load served by individual 
11alternative retail electric suppliers."; and
 
12on page 58, immediately below line 6, by inserting the 
13following:
14    "Electric utilities shall enter into sourcing agreements 
15with the Agency and Commission in an amount sufficient to

1deliver electric services to their eligible retail customers, 
2retail customers of alternative retail electric suppliers, and 
3customers participating in an electric utility's real-time 
4pricing program in its service territory. Electric utilities 
5may file tariffs for the recovery of those costs from their 
6retail customers."; and
 
7on page 58, line 14, after "with", by inserting "electric"; and
 
8on page 58, line 15, by deleting "and alternate retail electric 
9suppliers".
