| 3 | | replacing lines 7 through 9 with the following:

| 4 | | "Sec. 2.13. Legionnaires' disease notifications. |
| 5 | | (a) As used in this Section, "outbreak" means when 2 or |
| 6 | | more people are exposed to Legionella and get sick in the same |
| 7 | | place at about the same time. |
| 8 | | (b) A Veterans Home shall notify the residents of the |
| 9 | | Veterans Home, the families of residents at the Veterans Home, |
| 10 | | the residents' health care providers, the authorized agents |
| 11 | | under the residents' health care powers of attorney, visitors |
| 12 | | to the Veterans Home, employees of the"; and

| 13 | | on page 1, line 11, after "hours", by inserting "of a |
| 14 | | laboratory test confirmation".
