| | Amends the Good Samaritan Act. Provides that a person who in good faith and without fee administers epinephrine to another person who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction shall not be liable for civil damages as a result of his or her acts or omissions, except for willful or wanton misconduct on the part of the person in administering the epinephrine.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Good Samaritan Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 66 as follows: |
| 6 | | (745 ILCS 49/66 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 66. Epinephrine administration. A person who in good |
| 8 | | faith and without fee administers epinephrine to another person |
| 9 | | who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction shall not be |
| 10 | | liable for civil damages as a result of his or her acts or |
| 11 | | omissions, except for willful or wanton misconduct on the part |
| 12 | | of the person in administering the epinephrine.
