1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4822

2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4822, on page 1,

3 line 8, after "government", by inserting "or county officers";

4 and

5 on page 1, immediately below line 20, by inserting the

6 following:

7 "Section 7. Applicability.

8 (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, any

9 electronic notifications authorized by statute shall continue

10 to be authorized and the General Assembly by law may authorize

11 other electronic notifications.

12 (b) This Act does not apply to a school district."; and

13 on page 2, lines 7, 9, and 24, after "government" each time it

14 appears, by inserting "or county officer"; and

1 on page 3, lines 19 and 20, by replacing "A unit of local

2 government" with "Units of local government and county

3 officers"; and

4 on page 4, lines 1, 19, and 21, after "government" each time it

7 government or county officer"; and

8 on page 5, by deleting lines 2 through 7; and

9 on page 5, lines 9, 13, and 14, after "government" each time it

10 appears, by inserting "or county officer"; and

11 by deleting line 17 on page 5 through line 11 on page 24.
