| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4885 on page 2, by |
| 3 | | replacing line 22 with "programs. The Department of Human |
| 4 | | Services, in consultation with the Department of Children and |
| 5 | | Family Services, shall adopt rules to protect the privacy of |
| 6 | | families who are the subject of an open intact family services |
| 7 | | case when such families enroll in child care services. |
| 8 | | Additional rules shall be adopted to offer children who have an |
| 9 | | open intact family services case the opportunity to receive an |
| 10 | | Early Intervention screening and other services that their |
| 11 | | families may be eligible for as provided by the Department of |
| 12 | | Human Services."; and

| 13 | | on page 8, by replacing lines 8 and 9 with the following:

| 14 | | "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect 6 months |
| 15 | | after it becomes law.".
