| 2 | | I move to accept the specific recommendations of the |

as to House Bill 5177 in manner and form as follows: |
| 4 | | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5177 |
| 5 | | IN ACCEPTANCE OF GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS |
| 6 | | Amend House Bill 5177 on page 2, by replacing lines 16 |
| 7 | | through 19 with the following: |
| 8 | | "civilian
employee of the department. Notwithstanding any |
| 9 | | other provision of law, the board shall reconsider an |
| 10 | | application for credit for service under this item (c) that |
| 11 | | was submitted after January 1, 1992 and before April 1, |
| 12 | | 2008 and was denied.".
