AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5547




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5547 as follows:


 
3on page 1, by replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following:
 
4    "(a) In conjunction with its annual compliance examination 
5program, the Auditor General shall review State agencies and 
6their cybersecurity programs and practices, with a particular 
7focus on agencies holding large volumes of personal 
8information."; and
 
9on page 1, line 12, by replacing "audit" with "review"; and
 
10on page 2, by replacing lines 2 through 6 with the following:
 
11    "(c) Any findings resulting from the testing conducted 
12under this Section shall be included within the applicable 
13State agency's compliance examination report. Each compliance

1examination report shall be issued in accordance with the 
2provisions of Section 3-14. A copy of the report shall also be 
3delivered to the head of the applicable State agency and posted 
4on the Auditor General's website.".
