AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5573 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5573 on page 34, 
3line 19, by replacing "services" with "services, unless the 
4defendant was under 18 years of age at the time the offense was 
5committed"; and 


 
6on page 35, immediately below line 22, by inserting the 
7following:
8    "(d) If any provision of this Section or its application to 
9any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity of 
10that provision does not affect any other provision or 
11application of this Section that can be given effect without 
12the invalid provision or application."; and
 
13on page 52, immediately below line 16, by inserting the 
14following:
15    "(n) The provisions in this Section which allows a crime 
16victim to make a written and oral statement do not apply if the

1defendant was under 18 years of age at the time the offense was 
2committed.
3    (o) If any provision of this Section or its application to
