    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 6, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 5, by replacing Section 999 of Article 999 with the following:

    “Section 999. Effective date. This Article, Articles 1 through 50, Article 997 and Article 998 take effect upon becoming law. Articles 51 through 157 take effect on July 1, 2017.“.
