AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1415




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1415, on page 37, 
3by replacing lines 5 through 17 with the following:


4        "(7) To the extent a the municipality with a population 
5    of more than 1,000,000 by written agreement accepts and

6    approves
the same, all or a portion of a taxing district's 
7    capital costs resulting
from the redevelopment project 
8    necessarily incurred or to be incurred within a
taxing 
9    district in
furtherance of the objectives of the 
10    redevelopment plan and project;
11        (7.1) For units of local  government within a 
12    municipality
with a population of more than 1,000,000, all 
13    or a portion
of a unit of local government's capital costs 
14    resulting from the
redevelopment project reasonably 
15    incurred or to be
incurred within a unit of local 
16    government as a result of the
redevelopment plan and 
17    project; 
18        (7.2) For taxing districts other than as provided in

1    paragraphs (7) and (7.1), all or a portion of a taxing 
2    district's capital costs resulting
from the redevelopment 
3    project reasonably incurred or to be incurred within a
