AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2288

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2288 on page 2, line 14, by changing "and" to "and"; and

on page 2, line 17, by changing "court; and ." to "court."; and

by replacing line 18 on page 2 through line 3 on page 3 with the following:

"The court may also require or recommend that the respondent undergo counseling for a specified duration with a social worker, psychologist, clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, family service agency, alcohol or substance abuse program, mental health center guidance counselor, agency providing services to elders, program designed for domestic violence abusers, or any other guidance service the court deems appropriate. The court may order the respondent in any intimate partner relationship to report to an Illinois Department of Human Services protocol approved partner abuse intervention program for an assessment and to follow all assessment recommendations."; and

on page 7, line 7, by changing "and" to "and"; and

on page 7, line 9, by changing "petitioner; and ." to "petitioner."; and

on page 7, by replacing lines 10 through 21 with the following:
