| 3 | | on page 19, line 9, by replacing "may" with "may, in its |
| 4 | | discretion,"; and

| 5 | | on page 19, by replacing lines 12 through 17 with the |
| 6 | | following:
|
| 7 | | "third offense. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection |
| 8 | | (j), if any violation is the cause or contributing cause in a |
| 9 | | motor vehicle accident causing damage to property, injury, or |
| 10 | | death to a person, the Department may, in its discretion, not |
| 11 | | issue a permit to the person, firm, or corporation for a period |
| 12 | | of 180 days".
