AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2952 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2952 on page 16, by 
3replacing lines 5 through 15 with the following:
4    "(b) The Prescription Monitoring Program Advisory 
5Committee
shall consist of 16 members appointed by the Clinical 
6Director
of the Prescription Monitoring Program The Clinical 
7Director of
the Prescription Monitoring Program shall appoint 
8members to
serve on the advisory committee. The advisory 
9committee shall
be composed of prescribers and dispensers 
10licensed to practice in his or her respective profession as 
11follows: one family or primary care physician; one pain 
12specialist physician; 4
other physicians licensed to practice 
13medicine in all its branches;
2 one advanced practice 
14registered nurses nurse; one physician
assistant; one 
15optometrist or ophthalmologist; one dentist;
one podiatric 
16physician; one veterinarian; one representative from a 
17statewide organization representing hospitals; and 3
