SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the State Police Merit Board for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 1. The amount of $1,432,900, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for its ordinary and contingent expenses.
Section 5. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2018. Notwithstanding anything in this Act to the contrary, appropriations authorized in this Act shall be used for all costs incurred prior to July 1, 2019.
