| 7 | | Price started his tour of duty in Vietnam on April 6,
1967; he |

killed in action by small arms fire on May 6, 1967 while |
| 9 | | serving near Plieku in Vietnam as an Infantryman
with Company |
| 10 | | B, 3rd Battalion, 12th
Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry |
| 11 | | Division; he was 19 years old; and

| 12 | | WHEREAS, Private Price was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, |
| 13 | | the Combat Infantry
Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal with One
|
| 14 | | Service Star, the Vietnam Campaign Medal,
and the National |
| 15 | | Defense Service Medal; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Private Price was laid to rest in Bunker Hill |
| 17 | | Cemetery; more than 1,200 people viewed his body as it lay in |
| 18 | | repose prior to his burial; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Private Price was born to Mr. and Mrs. Vern T. |
| 20 | | Price in Dorchester on July 28, 1947; he graduated from |
| 21 | | Gillespie High School in 1966; therefore, be it
