| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Dennis L. Rosenthal Sr. of Rock Island, |
| 4 | | who passed away on January 21, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Rosenthal Sr. was born in Rock Island on |
| 6 | | December 15, 1946; he served in the United States Army during |
| 7 | | the Vietnam War; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Rosenthal Sr. was a mechanic at several |
| 9 | | area businesses, including Sears; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Rosenthal Sr. was preceded in death by his |
| 11 | | mother, Katherine Rosenthal; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Rosenthal Sr. is survived by his children, |
| 13 | | Lisa (Scott) Cook, Jack Rosenthal, and Dennis Rosenthal Jr.; |
| 14 | | his stepchildren, Scott Hawkins, Steve (Chrissy) Hawkins, and |
| 15 | | Mary Ann Raychel; six grandchildren; and his siblings, Jack |
| 16 | | Rosenthal, Mike Kaesbauer, and Patty Marberry; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 | | Dennis L. Rosenthal Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 20 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
