SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dennis E. Norton Sr. of McHenry, who 
4passed away on January 26, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. was born to Rueben and Beatrice 
6(Keefe) Norton on October 7, 1941; he served in the United 
7States Army and married Roberta Kalleck on February 21, 1964; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. worked as a mechanic and was the 
10founder of Performance Unlimited; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. centered his life around his 
12family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. was preceded in death by his 
14parents and his sister, Sandra Norton; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. is survived by his wife, 
16Roberta; his  children, Dennis (Michelle) Norton, Denise 
17(Peter) Hunt, Bonnie (Kevin) Huff, and Michael (Renee) Norton; 
18and  his grandchildren, Kyle Huff, Brianna Huff, Makayla Huff, 
19Kain Norton, Isaac Norton, Julia Norton, and Brandon Norton;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Dennis E. Norton Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Dennis Norton Sr. as an expression 
8of our deepest sympathy.
