SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Michael Lee Young of Fox Lake, who passed 
4away on January 23, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Young was born in Clinton on August 22, 
61955 and was raised by Larry and Mary Hutton; he served in the 
7United States Army in Germany as a member of the Hawk Fire 
8Control Crew; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, After the military, Michael Young moved to 
10Johnsburg, where he established Young's Auto Repair in 1982;  he 
11relocated the business to McHenry in 1997; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Michael Young enjoyed collecting guns, John 
13Wayne, classic cars, and riding his Harley Davidson; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Michael Young was preceded in death by his parents 
15and his brother, James; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Michael Young is survived by his wife, Stephanie 
17Armstrong; his  children, Matthew Young, Amanda Young, Sean 
18Michalski, Kassandra Michalski, and Katrina Michalski (Chris 
19Brecht); 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings, 
20Joyce, Robert Henry, Maryann, Donald, and Irven; and his

1half-siblings, Kim and Paul; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Michael Lee Young, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Michael Young as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
