SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Alex Glen Kube of Rockford, who passed 
4away on February 8, 2017 at the age of 29; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alex Kube was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 
631, 1987; he was a 2006 graduate of Cary Grove High School and 
7earned a football scholarship to Northern Illinois University; 
8following college, his hard work earned him a tryout with the 
9Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings; after football, he started 
10a love for coaching and teaching young people of all ages; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Alex Kube was owner of Elite 7, a coach for the 
12Rockford East football team, and teacher at Lincoln Middle 
13School; the impact he left on so many will forever be his 
14legacy; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Alex Kube was preceded in death by his 
16grandmother, Marilyn Ankcorn; grandfather, Jerry Walker, and 
17his aunt Lisa Rehling; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, Alex Kube is survived by his loving wife, 
19Elizabeth (Starliper) Kube; his parents, Lorna Kube and Tim 
20Walker; his brothers, Blake Kube and Spencer Kube, who is 
21currently in the United States Marine Corps stationed in Japan;

1his stepbrothers, Colin and Devin Walker; his mother and 
2father-in-law, Terry and Lisa Starliper; his grandparents, 
3Glen Ankcorn, Willie and Ozella Hardwick, and Connie Walker; 
4and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Alex Glen Kube and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Alex Kube as an expression of our 
12deepest sympathy.
