SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ronald W. Gluff Sr. of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on February 22, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Gluff Sr. was born in Woodstock on May 30, 
61943; he served as a United States Navy Seabee during the 
7Vietnam War; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ronald Gluff Sr. worked as an engineer for the 
9Chicago North Western and Union Pacific railroads for nearly 40 
10years; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Ronald Gluff Sr. enjoyed fishing, drinking Diet 
12Pepsi, and following the Chicago Cubs; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald Gluff Sr. and his wife, Nancy, raised three 
14children, Ron, Brian, and Julie, in Schaumburg for nearly 40 
15years; they recently returned to Woodstock; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Ronald W. Gluff Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his 
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
