2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Bette J. Brown of Woodstock, who passed |
4 | | away on March 11, 2017; and |
5 | | WHEREAS, Bette Brown was born in Belvidere to Clifford and |
6 | | Helen (Pease) Stock on July 22, 1940; she married Ronald H. |
7 | | Brown in Woodstock on October 1, 1960; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Bette Brown was employed for many years at the |
9 | | State Bank of Woodstock; she was a member of St. John's |
10 | | Lutheran Church in Woodstock and volunteered with Meals on |
11 | | Wheels and the Clothing Closet; she enjoyed cross stitching, |
12 | | reading, and going to her children and her grandchildren's |
13 | | special events; she was loved and will be missed; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Bette Brown was preceded in death by her parents; |
15 | | her husband; her sisters, Carol Lipinsky and Judy Bradkowski; |
16 | | and her brothers, Chuck and Rick Stock; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Bette Brown is survived by her sons, Kevin |
18 | | (Marybeth) Brown and Kurt (Heather) Brown; her daughter, Deann |
19 | | (Patrick) Ryan; her grandchildren, Nora, Colleen, Joe, and |
20 | | Michael Brown, and Liz and Alexander Ryan; and many nieces and |
21 | | nephews; therefore, be it
