| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edward A. Drysch of Shorewood, who passed |
| 4 | | away on March 26, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edward Drysch was born in Chicago to Sophie |
| 6 | | (Jonikas) and Edward W. Drysch on June 23, 1941; he graduated |
| 7 | | from Saint Rita High School and was married to Mary Lou (Hazer) |
| 8 | | Drysch for 53 years; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Edward Drysch retired from Distilleries Company |
| 10 | | Limited after many years of service; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Edward Drysch faithfully volunteered at Presence |
| 12 | | Saint Joseph Medical Center for over 19 years and played in a |
| 13 | | senior bocce ball league; he loved reading and could be found |
| 14 | | several days a week at the Shorewood Public Library; he lived |
| 15 | | on the South Side of Chicago and was a loyal fan of the Chicago |
| 16 | | Cubs, but he could also be found rooting for the White Sox if |
| 17 | | they were the leading team; he loved the movies and fishing and |
| 18 | | always looked forward to the annual fishing trip in Hayward, |
| 19 | | Wisconsin; his favorite pastime was spending time with his |
| 20 | | grandchildren; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Edward Drysch was preceded in death by his parents |
