| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy J. Murphy of Mount Prospect, who |
| 4 | | passed away on April 4, 2017 at the age of 62; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy was a graduate of DePaul Law School |
| 6 | | and was a dedicated and dogged attorney who practiced his |
| 7 | | talents for over 37 years; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy was born and raised on the South |
| 9 | | Side of Chicago; he was proud of his Chicago roots and |
| 10 | | enthusiastically cheered on the Chicago White Sox, the |
| 11 | | Blackhawks, and the Northwestern Wildcats; he believed |
| 12 | | strongly in helping and serving others in his community and was |
| 13 | | a committed member of the Mt. Prospect Lions Club; he brought |
| 14 | | energy and zest to every occasion and enjoyed life to the |
| 15 | | absolute fullest; he loved getting together with friends, going |
| 16 | | to countless rock concerts, and making others laugh with his |
| 17 | | wit and humor; he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, |
| 18 | | son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, and loyal friend; he was |
| 19 | | a willing confidant, peacemaker, and sage counselor and will be |
| 20 | | missed by all; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy is survived by his parents Robert |
| 22 | | and Dolores Murphy; his wife of 37 years Kathleen (Meersman); |
