2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Susan Jane Grossman of Woodstock, who |
4 | | passed away on April 11, 2017; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Susan Grossman was born in Evanston to James and |
6 | | Rita (Close) Daly on October 9, 1940; she was raised in |
7 | | Johnsburg and graduated from McHenry High School in 1958; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Susan Grossman worked for nearly 20 years at |
9 | | Science Research Associates in Chicago; she served for 23 years |
10 | | on the Woodstock Rescue Squad and worked for five years at |
11 | | Centegra-Woodstock; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Susan Grossman was a lover of books and fine |
13 | | culture, but she was also a down-to-earth person who loved |
14 | | sewing and country and western music; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Susan Grossman was preceded in death by her |
16 | | parents, and her siblings, Mary Rita (Larry) Feezel, and |
17 | | Patrick James Daly; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Susan Grossman is survived by her children, Tracy |
19 | | Susan Grossman, Kurt J. Grossman, and Joseph "Jamie" (Heather) |
20 | | Grossman; her grandchildren, Samuel Wall, and Molly Susan |
